Listening to Divine Rivals felt like being on an epic quest with Isolde and Merida by my side. The story is fast-paced and engaging, with twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat. Ross's world-building is exceptional, with richly drawn settings and complex, memorable characters. The narration is top-notch, with Wingfield and Norfolk bringing their characters to life with distinct voices and excellent pacing. My only critique is that the sheer number of characters and their various alliances can be a bit confusing at times, but the story is so compelling that it's easy to forgive.
