As someone who's a sucker for a good grumpy-sunshine romance, I was hooked from the first chapter of 'Forbidden Grump's Babies.' Virtual Voice's narration brings the story to life, with a perfect balance of intensity and vulnerability that makes you root for the characters to find their happy ending. Madison's writing is sharp and witty, and the setting of the world of professional baseball adds an exciting new twist to the genre. One critique I would offer is that some of the early scenes could have been fleshed out a bit more to build the chemistry between the characters. However, this is a minor issue in an otherwise captivating listen.
