I was hooked from the start, as our unsuspecting hero stumbles into a world of magic hidden within his elite college. The narration is top-notch, with Nolen and Syme creating a dynamic duo that brings out the best in King's characters. The pacing is excellent, balancing the everyday college life with the high-stakes magical adventures. The production is clean, with sound effects and music used sparingly but effectively to enhance the listening experience. My only critique is that some of the magical explanations could have been a bit clearer, but overall, Big Mage on Campus is a fantastic listen that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
