His performance is *ridiculously* good, especially in *Big Rock*, where he nails the protagonist’s mix of arrogance and vulnerability so well I actually caught myself arguing back at my AirPods during the more infuriating (read: delicious) moments. The man does ‘smoldering’ in *three different timbres*, and I’m still not over it. That said, this isn’t perfect. The second book, *Mister O*, drags a bit in the middle—Blakely’s banter-heavy style occasionally tips into repetition, and even York’s charm can’t fully mask a plot that relies a little too hard on miscommunication. And at 26+ hours, the bundle demands commitment; I found myself needing breaks between books to avoid romance fatigue. But the highs *far* outweigh the lows.
