Black as Night

As I delved into 'Black as Night', I was immediately struck by Amy Landon's narration, which is nothing short of exceptional. She effortlessly captures the essence of each character, from Neeve's initial haughtiness to her eventual vulnerability, making it impossible not to become invested in their journey. The pacing is spot-on, building tension and suspense with each twist and turn of the plot. However, I must admit, the story's dark nature may not be for everyone, as it explores themes of abuse and betrayal that could be triggering for some listeners. But for those who appreciate a more mature, complex take on classic fairy tales, 'Black as Night' is an absolute gem.
