As someone who loves a good dark romance, I was immediately drawn into the world of Blood & Roses Volume 1. The narrators, Vivienne Scully and Timothy Hughes, deliver top-notch performances, with Scully's sultry voice perfectly capturing the rebellious spirit of Serena, while Hughes' deep, brooding tones bring Zeth to life. Their chemistry together is undeniable, and it's easy to get lost in their dangerous love story. The pacing is spot-on, with enough action and tension to keep me on the edge of my seat. However, I did find some of the violence a bit over-the-top at times, which took me out of the story briefly. But overall, this audiobook is a must-listen for fans of gritty, edgy romance.
