I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Blood & Ash, Deborah Wilde's thrilling tale of forbidden magic and missing teens. Hollie Jackson's narration was outstanding, bringing each character to life and keeping me engaged throughout the audiobook. The story's pacing was perfect, with enough action and suspense to keep me hooked, yet still allowing for moments of character development and reflection. One of the things I appreciated most was the author's ability to weave together elements of mystery, romance, and supernatural forces in a way that felt both fresh and natural. My only critique would be that some of the secondary characters felt a bit underdeveloped, which occasionally made their roles in the story feel less impactful. Overall, though, Blood & Ash is a must-listen for fans of supernatural thrillers and anyone looking for a gripping, action-packed audiobook experience.
