As I listened to 'Blue', I found myself drawn into the world Peer created, particularly through the expert narration of Noelle Bridges and John Masterson. Bridges brings a perfect balance of warmth and aloofness to Mary, while Masterson's portrayal of Logan expertly captures his introverted struggles. The chemistry between the two leads is palpable, even when they're apart, and the phone conversations are some of the most engaging moments in the audiobook. One area where the story falls short is in the supporting cast – some characters feel a bit one-dimensional, which can make it difficult to fully invest in their subplots. Additionally, the audiobook's climax, while emotionally resonant, feels slightly rushed. That being said, the strengths of 'Blue' far outweigh its weaknesses, making it a must-listen for fans of character-driven fiction.
