Bodies, Baddies, and a Crabby Tabby

I was immediately drawn to Megan Fallon, a woman who's seen her fair share of life and isn't afraid to speak her mind. Sherri Bryan has created a character who's equal parts hilarious and heartwarming, and Esther Wane's narration is the perfect complement, capturing Megan's essence with a voice that's as inviting as an old friend. The mystery itself is a well-crafted puzzle, with enough red herrings to keep you on your toes. The pacing is spot on, balancing suspense with moments of levity, often provided by the crabby tabby of the title. My only critique is that I wish there were more scenes with the cat, as it's such a unique and entertaining character. Overall, this is a fantastic listen for anyone looking for a cozy mystery with a bit more bite.
