Sophie Amoss's narration is phenomenal - she has a gift for conveying the subtleties of Tana's emotions, from the quiet moments of self-doubt to the soaring highs of her romance. Griffin's writing is similarly impressive, weaving a world of magic and mystery that's impossible to resist. One of the standout elements of the audiobook is the way Griffin explores the complexities of Tana's relationships - her parents, her love interest, even her own sense of identity. However, I felt that the supporting cast could have benefited from more development, particularly the male love interest, who sometimes feels more like a plot device than a fully fleshed-out character.
