As I listened to Brandi Carlile's Broken Horses, I found myself drawn into her world, where music was both a source of comfort and a means of escape. Carlile's narration is warm and inviting, with a conversational tone that makes you feel like you're sitting in a coffee shop with her, swapping stories.
