As a listener, I went into 'Burn, Baby, Burn' with high expectations, and R.J. Blain more than delivered. From the opening chapters, I was swept up in the infectious energy of the story, courtesy of Nicole Blessing's exceptional narration. Her voice brings Tiffany 'Perkette' Perkins to life with a perfect blend of wit, sass, and vulnerability, making it impossible not to become invested in her misadventures. That being said, I did find a few moments where the plot began to feel a tad rushed, particularly in the climax. A slightly more detailed buildup would have added even more tension and emotional resonance to the payoff. However, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding production. With its perfect blend of humor, heart, and action, 'Burn, Baby, Burn' is an absolute must-listen for fans of romantic comedy, science fiction, and fantasy alike.
