Whiskers on Kittens

As I began listening to Whiskers on Kittens, I was immediately captivated by the whimsical and engaging world that R.J. Blain has created. Keira Grace's narration brings the characters to life, her voice perfectly capturing the sass and charm of Kelsie, the reluctant succubus kitten tamer. Grace's ability to convey the personalities of the feline Fae creatures is particularly impressive, making it easy for listeners to become invested in their adventures. Throughout the audiobook, Grace maintains a steady pace, allowing for moments of lighthearted humor and tension to build effectively. Her clear enunciation and expressive tone make it easy to follow the story, even in more complex sections. However, I did find the occasional repetition of certain phrases and words to be a bit jarring at times. Overall, though, this is a delightful and entertaining listen that I would recommend to fans of urban fantasy and anyone who's ever wished they could tame a mischievous cat.
