Cafe Latte

I was hooked from the first chapter of Cafe Latte. Kelley Hazen's narration is a standout feature, bringing Hamilton's diverse cast of characters to life with remarkable clarity. Her ability to switch between voices and accents is impressive, making each character distinct and engaging. The pacing is spot on, building tension and suspense as the mystery of the missing person unfolds. I particularly enjoyed the way Hamilton weaves in environmental and social issues, giving the story depth without detracting from the central mystery. However, I did find the resolution of one subplot a tad too neat, but it's a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent audiobook. If you're looking for a mystery that's as comforting as a cup of coffee and as engaging as a good conversation, Cafe Latte is the perfect pick.
