Chained by Night

As an editor, I was hooked from the opening scene, and I think listeners will be too. Amy Landon's narration is superb, bringing out the best in Larissa Ione's vivid characters and world-building. She seamlessly conveys the raw emotion and intensity of the scenes, making it feel like you're right there in the midst of the action. One of the things that struck me about Chained by Night is the way the author weaves together themes of power, loyalty, and identity. Hunter's struggle to balance his duty to his people with his own desires and moral code is a compelling and relatable one, and Amy Landon does a wonderful job of conveying his inner turmoil. If I have any criticism, it's that some of the supporting characters feel a bit underdeveloped – it's not until later in the book that we get to see more of their motivations and backstories. Overall, however, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise engaging and immersive listen. If you're a fan of paranormal romance or suspenseful drama, Chained by Night is definitely worth checking out.
