Meanwhile, Everdeen’s narration for the heroine is a masterclass in contradiction—tough as nails one second, trembling the next, like she’s fighting herself as much as her feelings. The production shines in its intimacy: no overdone accents or melodrama, just two narrators who *listen* to each other, their deliveries overlapping in ways that make the chemistry feel organic. My only gripe? The anthology-style jumps in timeline occasionally disrupt momentum—you’ll crave more linear payoff in the middle act.
