Children of Virtue and Vengeance. Flammende Schatten

As someone who thoroughly enjoyed the first book in the series, I was eagerly anticipating the next installment. Children of Virtue and Vengeance did not disappoint. Vanida Karun's narration is simply outstanding, bringing the vivid world of Orïsha to life with her emotive performance. Her ability to differentiate between characters and convey their emotions is truly impressive. The audiobook maintains a perfect balance between intense action sequences and poignant moments of character development. However, I found the pacing to be a bit slow in the middle, which slightly detracted from the overall experience. Nevertheless, this audiobook is a must-listen for fans of fantasy and adventure, and I am already counting down the days until the next book.
