I devoured 'Cinq petits cochons' in one sitting, drawn in by the intricate web of relationships and motives surrounding Amyas Crale's death. Labarthe's performance is superb, capturing the distinct voices and personalities of the witnesses. The pacing is well-judged, with a nice balance between tension and release. If I have any quibbles, it's that some of the supporting characters feel a tad underdeveloped, and the production could benefit from a more dynamic sound design. Still, these are minor complaints in an otherwise exceptional audiobook that will keep mystery fans guessing until the very end.
