Compulsion

I was hooked from the very first chapter. Eliza Foss's narration is what truly makes this audiobook shine. She masterfully captures Maxine's no-nonsense attitude and emotional depth, making you feel every twist and turn of the case as if you're right there beside her. The pacing is perfect, never rushing through crucial details yet always building tension. Brennan's writing is as sharp as ever, with a plot that's as complex as a puzzle and just as satisfying to solve. My only critique is that some secondary characters could have used a bit more development, but it's a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding listen.
