Mitchell's narration is a joy, capturing Nora's deadpan humor and delivering the story's more suspenseful moments with just the right amount of tension. The pacing is spot-on, with Nelson expertly balancing the investigation, Nora's personal growth, and a touch of romance. My only critiques? I could've used a bit more world-building to understand the rules of this supernatural universe, and the resolution felt a tad too neat. But these are minor quibbles in an otherwise engaging and entertaining listen.
