I devoured Cruel Promise in a single listening session, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. The dual narration was a stroke of genius, allowing me to fully immerse myself in both Dominique's and Evangeline's perspectives. James Cavenaugh's deep, resonant voice perfectly captures Dominique's brooding intensity, while Heather Firth's sultry tones bring Evangeline's strength and vulnerability to life. The pacing is spot-on, building tension and releasing it in all the right places. My only critique? I wish there was more of it!
