Cutthroat

I was hooked from the very first sentence of Cutthroat, and Simone Rothschild's narration only amplified that feeling. Her ability to capture Eden's Southern charm and steeliness made me feel like I was right there in the room with her. The story moves at a steady pace, with just the right amount of twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat. I particularly loved how Grant explored the complexities of marriage and the lengths we go to protect our loved ones. However, I did find some of the secondary characters a bit one-dimensional, which was a slight letdown in an otherwise stellar cast. The production quality is top-notch, with no background noise or awkward pauses to distract from the story. Overall, Cutthroat is a fantastic listen that I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a suspenseful tale with a healthy dose of Southern charm.
