I went into *Dance of the Forest King* expecting another glittery fae romance, but Thorn delivered a story that’s equal parts mythic tragedy and sci-fi oddity. Now, let’s talk narration. Liam Price is *exceptional*. His Oberon is all brooding intensity, but he also nails the quieter moments—like when the king’s voice cracks during a rare admission of vulnerability. The production quality is top-tier, with no distracting background noise, but I’ll admit the sci-fi elements (yes, there’s *sci-fi* in a fae romance) felt a bit jarring at first. The abrupt shifts between magic and futuristic tech took some getting used to, but by the midpoint, I was hooked.
