I was hooked from the get-go. York's narration is top-notch, his ability to switch between accents and paces making each character distinct and engaging. The story moves at a breakneck pace, with Quinn expertly balancing high-stakes action and steamy romance. I found myself on the edge of my seat, heart pounding, only to be swept away by a tender moment between Jett and her love interest. It's a wild ride, and I couldn't help but be swept up in it. My only critique? I wish there had been a bit more exploration of the political intrigue that sets the story in motion. But that's a small quibble in an otherwise thrilling listen.
