DEAD: Siege & Survival

Listening to DEAD: Siege & Survival was an immersive, chilling experience. Andrew McFerrin's narration is top-notch, capturing the desperation and fear of the characters with such authenticity that I found myself shivering along with them. The story moves at a steady pace, balancing action, suspense, and character development. Brown's writing is stark and unapologetic, pulling no punches in its portrayal of the harsh world these survivors must navigate. My only critique is that some of the secondary characters could use more depth, but this is a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audiobook. If you're looking for a horror story that's as much about the human condition as it is about the undead, this is a must-listen.
