Editor's Review ★★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

I was immediately drawn into Death in the Crypt by its unique setting and intriguing premise. The cathedral crypt is a character in its own right, its dark, echoing chambers providing a chilling backdrop to the murder mystery. Sofia Zervudachi's narration is a standout feature of this audiobook. Her ability to capture the essence of each character, from the aristocratic Lady Cressida to the humble cathedral verger, is remarkable. The pacing is spot on, building tension and suspense with each twist and turn of the plot. My only critique is that I wished for a little more development of the secondary characters, but this is a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent listen. If you're a fan of atmospheric mysteries with a strong, intelligent heroine, this is a must-listen.
