Editor's Review ★★★★

AudioBook Atlas

I was hooked from the first chapter. Bildner's narration is a standout, his voice perfectly capturing Washburn's weary, world-weary demeanor. He's got a knack for pacing, too, ratcheting up the tension as Washburn inches closer to the truth. The story's a bit predictable at times, but Paddock's crisp writing and Bildner's engaging performance more than make up for it. I found myself wishing for a bit more depth in the secondary characters, but that's a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent listen. If you're in the mood for a gritty, fast-paced mystery, Deserving of Death is your ticket.
