As an avid romance listener, I was thoroughly charmed by 'Disturbing His Peace', and the audiobook is a significant reason why. The narration is top-notch, with Morgan and Canela effortlessly conveying the humor, tension, and heart that Bailey's writing so skillfully balances. One of the standout elements is the way Bailey skillfully subverts expectations, taking the 'cold, unfeeling robot' trope and turning it on its head. However, at times, the pacing feels slightly uneven, with some scenes feeling a tad rushed. Additionally, while the supporting cast is well-developed, they sometimes get relegated to the background, which felt like a missed opportunity.
