Drachenthal. Die Box

As an audiobook editor, I was thoroughly enthralled by Wolfgang Hohlbein's 'Drachenthal. Die Box', and I suspect that listeners will be similarly captivated. Hohlbein's pacing is spot-on, expertly shifting between moments of high tension and quieter introspection. However, I did feel that some of the supporting characters could have benefited from a bit more development – particularly the enigmatic and sinister figures lurking in the shadows of Schloss Drachenthal. Nevertheless, the sheer imagination and creativity on display in this audiobook make it an absolute must-listen for fans of Germanic folklore. With its eerie atmosphere and unforgettable characters, 'Drachenthal. Die Box' is a true original, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a story that will transport them to a world of magic and wonder. Wolfgang Hohlbein's narration is, of course, a significant part of this audiobook's charm. His warm, soothing voice brings the characters and world to life in a way that is both captivating and intimate. While some listeners may find the German accent a bit jarring at first, I believe it adds a unique layer of authenticity to the story that will only enhance the listening experience.
