AudioBook Atlas

As an audiobook editor, I was thoroughly entranced by Dragon Wing, and I think you will be too. Fajer Al-Kaisi's narration is top-notch, with a keen sense of pacing that propels the story forward at a breakneck speed without ever feeling rushed or confusing. Al-Kaisi's performances of the various characters are distinct and nuanced, bringing much-needed depth to a narrative that could easily have been overwhelming. My only quibble is that the supporting cast is sometimes relegated to the background, making it difficult to connect with them on an emotional level. This is a minor complaint, however, and the story's many strengths more than compensate. If you're a fan of epic fantasy or just looking for a compelling adventure, Dragon Wing is an excellent choice. Be prepared to spend 16 hours and 36 minutes immersed in Weis's richly detailed world, though - it's worth every minute!
