His delivery of a story about a disastrous early performance in *The World According to Garp* (where he played a dog—yes, really) had me laughing so hard I had to pull over on a highway. The pacing is tight, too, never lingering too long on nostalgia or veering into self-indulgence. That said, I wish he’d dug deeper into some of his more controversial career moments—like his role in *3rd Rock from the Sun*—instead of glossing over them with a chuckle.
