I was completely absorbed in 'Dukes of Madness' from the start, drawn in by the protagonist's haunting voice and the sinister world they inhabit. Lula Larkin's narration is superb, conveying the character's vulnerability and growing strength with nuance and conviction. Troy Duran's performance as the various male characters is equally impressive, bringing depth and complexity to the story. The pacing is well-balanced, with a mix of intense action sequences and quieter moments of introspection. One minor quibble is that some of the supporting characters feel a bit one-dimensional, but this is a minor complaint in an otherwise excellent production.
