As someone who's always been drawn to the darker side of the Gothic genre, I found Lords of Wrath to be an absolute treat. The story is a masterclass in slow-burn tension, with Lawson expertly doling out just enough information to keep you hooked without giving too much away. The narration is a standout feature of this audiobook. Bridget Bordeaux's performance is nothing short of captivating, her voice weaving a spell that draws you in and keeps you entranced.
