Heartless Sky

As someone who loves a good paranormal romance with a dash of political intrigue, I was thoroughly enthralled by Heartless Sky. The Bordeauxs' narration is nothing short of exceptional, with Bridget capturing the sisters' strength and vulnerability, and Jake bringing a welcome gravitas to the supporting characters. The way they weave in and out of each other's narratives creates a sense of urgency and anticipation that's hard to match. The story itself is a masterclass in world-building, with a richly detailed society that feels both familiar and otherworldly. My only critique is that at times, the sheer volume of secrets and revelations can feel overwhelming, but it's a small price to pay for such a compelling narrative. The pacing is spot-on, balancing action-packed scenes with quieter, more intimate moments. Overall, Heartless Sky is a standout audiobook that I can't recommend enough.
