I was blown away by the sheer scope and ambition of Echoes of Deceit. As an editor, I'm always on the lookout for audiobooks that bring something new and exciting to the table, and Douglas E. Richards delivers in spades. Jay Aaseng's narration is top-notch, with a keen sense of pacing and a ability to convey the emotional intensity of the story. My only critique would be that the supporting cast could have been fleshed out a bit more - some of the minor characters feel a tad one-dimensional in comparison to the main trio.
