Empty Caskets

I devoured Empty Caskets in a single, marathon listening session – a testament to Seth Trey's compelling narration and Lewis Dually's page-turning storytelling. Trey's steady, authoritative voice is well-suited to the US Navy's mission commander, and he skillfully conveys the tension and urgency that drives the plot. My one quibble is that some of the supporting characters feel a bit one-dimensional, but this is a minor complaint in an otherwise expertly crafted story. The pacing is well-balanced, with a mix of action, suspense, and quieter moments that allow listeners to catch their breath. If I have a second criticism, it's that the production could have benefited from a bit more sound design – some judiciously placed sound effects would have added to the overall tension. Still, this is a minor nitpick in an otherwise outstanding audiobook.
