Enthralled

As a listener, I was immediately drawn into Clara's world, her confusion and desperation to remember her past palpable through Emily Lawrence's nuanced performance. Tim Campbell's narration adds depth to the story, his voice perfectly capturing the dark and mysterious undertones of the paranormal elements. The pacing is excellent, with Mercedes masterfully doling out clues to Clara's past, keeping me guessing until the very end. However, I must admit, the story's reliance on the trope of the 'forbidden love' did feel a bit overused at times. Nevertheless, Enthralled is a compelling listen, perfect for those who enjoy a good mix of romance, fantasy, and a touch of the paranormal. The narration alone is worth a listen, making this audiobook a standout in its genre.
