Escape from Eden

I'm still reeling from the experience of listening to Escape from Eden. Stephanie Willing's narration was absolutely phenomenal, and I found myself completely swept up in Sage's world. The pacing of the story was expertly handled, with a natural rhythm that made it impossible to put the audiobook down. One of the things I appreciated most about the story was the way McClellan subverted my expectations of the utopian society of Eden. It's a clever commentary on the human condition, and one that resonated deeply with me. If I have any criticisms, it's that at times the supporting cast felt a bit one-dimensional. I would have loved to see more development of characters like Colt and the other rebels. However, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audiobook.
