I devoured 'Escort til ministeren' in a single sitting, drawn in by the narrator's effortless delivery and the author's deft handling of the plot. Bøllehuus brings a sense of gravitas to the protagonist's voice, which suits the character's conflicted personality. My only quibble is that some of the supporting characters feel a tad underdeveloped, but this doesn't detract from the overall impact of the story. The production quality is top-notch, with clear and well-balanced sound. One area where the audiobook truly shines is in its pacing - Jakobsen expertly ratchets up the tension, making for a thrilling ride. My only other criticism is that the ending feels a shade rushed, but this is a minor complaint in an otherwise excellent listen.
