Exit Strategy

Virtual Voice delivers a powerhouse performance, nailing the gruff, world-weary tone of our protagonist, Coco. The narration style is as lean and muscular as the story itself, perfectly suited to the breakneck pacing. The production is top-notch, with subtle sound effects that enhance the action without being intrusive. I particularly enjoyed the way McCleery weaves in environmental themes without sacrificing an inch of thrill. However, some of the supporting characters could have used more development, and a few plot twists felt a tad convenient. Despite these minor quibbles, 'Exit Strategy' is a standout listen that will leave you breathless and thinking about your own carbon footprint.
