Eye of the Beholder

I went into Eye of the Beholder expecting a typical romance, but what I got was so much more. Clepitt's writing is masterful, and Lynda Remmer's narration is the perfect complement to the story. She brings a level of warmth and vulnerability to the characters that's impossible to resist. The pacing is well-balanced, with a narrative that flows effortlessly from one scene to the next. My only critique is that some of the supporting characters feel a bit one-dimensional, but this is a minor complaint in an otherwise excellent production. One of the things that really stood out to me was the way Clepitt explores the complexities of family relationships. Claude's interactions with his children are particularly poignant, and the way he struggles to connect with them is both heartbreaking and relatable. The world-building is also impressive, with a vividly realized setting that adds depth and texture to the story. Overall, I would highly recommend Eye of the Beholder to anyone looking for a thought-provoking and emotionally resonant listen.
