R.C. Bray's narration is the cherry on top of this interstellar sundae. His ability to switch between characters, from the sarcastic Skippy to the gruff, no-nonsense humans, is nothing short of impressive. The pacing is spot on, keeping the story moving at a breakneck speed that'll leave you checking the clock, wondering where the time went. Alanson's world-building is intricate, with a healthy dose of humor that keeps it from feeling too heavy. My only critique? The occasional info-dump slows the momentum, but it's a small price to pay for the laughs and thrills that come with it.
