As an audiobook listener, I was immediately drawn into 'First Carrier's post-apocalyptic world, where magic and technology coexist in fascinating, often dangerous ways. Calla, our heroine, is a force to be reckoned with, and Cassandra Parker's narration brings her to life in a way that had me rooting for her from the start. Parker's ability to convey Calla's emotional journey, from her initial cockiness to her later vulnerability, is truly impressive. The story itself is a gripping blend of fantasy and sci-fi, with a unique twist on post-apocalyptic tropes. However, some of the supporting characters could have used more development, as they sometimes felt one-dimensional. Despite this minor critique, 'First Carrier' is a captivating listen that kept me hooked until the very end.
