That said, the audiobook isn’t perfect: the pacing stumbles slightly in the middle during a wedding-set chase sequence that drags just long enough to test your patience. And while the werewolf politics are intriguing, they’re occasionally info-dumped in ways that feel more like homework than worldbuilding. Where this audiobook *shines* is in the details.
