Margaret Strom's narration brings Nora Black to life with a voice that is both warm and authoritative, making it easy to believe in the character’s journey. Her ability to convey Nora's mix of anxiety and resolve during tense moments is commendable. The story itself is a well-crafted puzzle, where each clue related to scents not only drives the plot but also enriches the narrative with fascinating details about olfactory science. However, some scenes felt slightly predictable, which could be improved by adding more twists. Despite this, the overall pacing is excellent, and the audiobook keeps you hooked until the very end.
