I was completely swept up in the world of Ho-Lee Noodle House and the speed dating chaos that ensues. Cindy Kay's narration is top-notch, bringing Lana's sass and determination to life in a way that's impossible to ignore. One of the things that really stood out to me was the way Chien uses the speed dating format to explore themes of love, identity, and community. It's a clever and unexpected twist that adds depth and complexity to an already engaging story. If I have one criticism, it's that the supporting characters feel a bit one-dimensional at times - I would have loved to see more development on the likes of Megan and Rina. But overall, this is a minor quibble in what is otherwise a deliciously entertaining mystery.
