The production is clean but not sterile, letting the oddities of Menger’s story breathe without over-polishing. That said, Brill’s performance isn’t flawless; his pacing stumbles in the middle where Menger’s writing gets repetitive, and at times, the emotional beats feel slightly too performative, risking a campy edge.
