Genesis

As someone who's always been fascinated by the universe but often finds scientific explanations dense, 'Genesis' was a revelation. Tonelli's storytelling prowess makes even the most mind-boggling concepts digestible. Lynch's narration is spot-on, his calm, measured pace allowing each idea to sink in. I found the chapter on the origin of life particularly compelling, Tonelli's speculations on RNA worlds and Hadean eons painting a vivid picture of Earth's early days. The only downside? I wish Tonelli had delved deeper into the implications of these origins for our understanding of ourselves. But that's a minor quibble in an otherwise stellar audiobook.
