Gomorra

Listening to 'Gomorra' is like being on a guided tour of the underbelly of Naples, led by a man who knows its dark corners intimately. Saviano's narration is compelling, his voice crackling with emotion and authority. The other narrators, Bottone and De Mejo, bring a welcome variety, their voices adding depth to the storytelling. The pacing is relentless, each chapter a new descent into the Camorra's web. The production is minimalistic, letting the story and narration take center stage. My only critique? The lack of a clear structure can make it feel like a series of interconnected anecdotes rather than a cohesive narrative. But that's a small price to pay for such an unflinching exploration of a hidden world.
