Haunted

I've listened to my fair share of horror audiobooks, but 'Haunted' has left a particularly chilling mark. The pacing is exquisite, like a horror movie director building suspense before the big scare. Hills' narration is a standout performance, his voice a perfect match for the dark, foreboding tale. However, I found some of the dialogue a bit stilted, which occasionally broke the spell. But that's a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent listening experience. The production is clean, with no distracting background noise, allowing the story and Hills' narration to take center stage. If you're a fan of slow-burn horror that keeps you on the edge of your seat, 'Haunted' is a must-listen.
